Recently, Tianjin free trade zone Working Committee and Administrative Committee held the Conference about “Innovation Driving Development of Tianjn Port Free Trade Zone”, issued Five years’ Implementation Plan of Tianjn Free Trade Zone Pushing the Innovation to Drive the Development, and put forward that the new highland of nationally famous innovative industries will be basically set up in 2020 with more than 86,000 science & technical enterprises, 300 national high-technological enterprises and 40 “top kill” products.
Mr. Yang Bing, deputy secretary and director of Tianjin port free trade zone, said that advanced and innovative resources are continuously gathering in Tianjin free trade zone. A batch of large- scale technical enterprises with powerful core technology and great efficiency have been settled in free trade zone, which is becoming the open innovative highland in Tianjin. Less than 200 technological corporations in 2010 have been rising to more than 5,000 in 2016, taking 23.3% in 2016 of the all the enterprises in Tianjin free trade zone from 2.4% in 2010. At the end of 2015, the innovative high-tech products’value of technological corporations has reached to 109.6 billion yuan, with year-on-year raise of 23.4%, taking up 53.5% of gross industrial output value in free trade zone.
Meanwhile, the conference also issued Five years’ Implementation Plan of Tianjn Free Trade Zone Pushing the Innovation to Drive the Development, insisting the important guideline of science & technology priority, talent oriented, finance first, system matching and open & innovation. Holding the conference is the magnificent measure for free trade zone to push the strategy of “innovation driving development”, is good to fight the battle of “starting a new undertaking” and to realize the transformation & upgrading and energy conversion.
