Traditional Enterprises Rush into Cross-border Ecommerce Industrial Park When Getting Profits from Overseas Market

   Tianjin cross-border ecommerce public service platform finished the docking & switching work with General Customs Administration of People's Republic of China on 30th June. Under the strongly support of Tianjin Municipal Commission of Commerce, Municipal Port Office, Customs Clearance and Inspection & Quarantine Bureau, Administrative Committee of Tianjin free trade zone has set up headquarters for cross-border ecommerce trial order and focuses on solving various problems.  The first matching of customs clearance form, payment form and logistics list was successfully finished with the approval of Customs Clearance and Inspection & Quarantine Bureau on 11th July.

 
   As the Ministry of Commerce of PRC anticipated, the business volume of China cross-border ecommerce will reach 6.5 trillion Yuan in 2016, and cross-border ecommerce business will account for 20% of China import-export business in next several years. Facing the whirlwind, both enterprises and local governments shall make preparation and confront supervision model reform caused by new formats of business operation. Mr. Feng Jianfeng, President and CEO of Osell, said that the business previously stayed in the bonus of voyage era. With the ecommerce business coming, the logistics will impossibly bring any profits to Western China, but Middle of China and Western China are standing on a same starting line in the respect of modern service industry. Many industries are looking for transformation & upgrading and industrial reformation right now. The internet promoting industrial reform may be the greatest industrial opportunity.


    One official of local commerce bureau said“At present, one of our major work is to assist enterprises in working with internet and exploring new methods.”As the situation of foreign trade is becoming increasingly serious, the traditional export business has a sluggish growth and enterprises have much more difficult development. In Tianjin free trade zone, Haiwei cross-border ecommerce plaza, as the pilot storage base, with the construction area of about 24,000 square meters, can provide a series of multi-functions, such as storage, exhibition and working office etc. As the storage base for cross-border ecommerce bonded stock, exhibition & order, office and operation, Haiwei plaza will surely attract more and more ecommerce enterprises moving in and provide integrated services, such as customs clearance, storage and distribution. Meanwhile, Haiwei plaza undertakes the implementation function of policies, optimize system docking and offer better services for ecommerce enterprises. In order to go with the new demands for national ecommerce development policy, with the governments’ support, cross-border ecommerce industrial parks have been constructed in many places and traditional enterprises are starting to work with internet. Local governments expect to assist traditional enterprises have a better development by internet.
