The First Cross-border Ecommerce Plaza Opened in Tianjin

  News report said on 14th Jan. 2016, the first cross-border ecommerce center, Haiwei Plaza, was recently opened and brought into service.

  According to the report, Haiwei plaza, invested and constructed by Haiwei Liquor Trading Market, is located in Tianjin port free trade zone under China customs’ special supervision, with the multi-functions of exhibition, office, storage and logistics. The plaza is 0.5 kilometers away from Tianjin Xingang port and enjoys the service of Customs and Inspection & quarantine.

  It is said that Haiwei Liquor Trading Market was set up with the support of the Ministry of Commerce of PRC and brings in international wines & liquors. In spite of online mall and offline O2O stores, the company carries out the chain operation in free trade /bonded zones nationwide and promises consumers’ return services within 7 days.

  Tianjin free trade zone was officially established on 21st April 2015. As the first free trade zone in North China, Tianjin plays a critical role in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei co-development and drive the economic development around Bohai area by the strategy of “one belt and one road”. Tianjin was approved to be the cross-border ecommerce pilot area, which has further promoted the development of free trade zone.

  Recently, State Council executive meeting decided to set up a batch of new crosser-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot areas in Tianjin and other cities. In spite of online single service window and offline comprehensive parks, they aim to develop the information sharing, financial services, intelligent logistics, electricity supplier credit, statistics monitoring and risk control, so as to make the integrated industrial chain and ecological circle
