Recently, Premier of the State Council, Li, Keqiang, met and had an informal discussion with domestic and international representatives who attended the First World Internet Conference in Hangzhou. 

　Li, Keqiang indicated that the First World Internet Conference focused on interconnection, communion and collegiality. The Internet, one of human’s greatest inventions, has  changed space axis, the time axis and the ideological dimension of the human world.

　Li Keqiang stressed that The Chinese Government has attached great importance to and strongly support the internet development. We treat the internet with embracing attitude and nurture it by market thought. We make great efforts to realize free market access, marketization of configuration elements and fair competition among enterprises.   

　Meanwhile, we adhere to legally manage the internet and severely crack down internet infringement, potential espionage and other crimes. In the period of Internet development, we shall do a good job on the supervision work and make the internet get a better growth so as to lead a new trend for innovation and Entrepreneurship.

　At the same time, “CPC Central Committee’s Decision on Improving a Socialist System of Laws with Chinese Characteristics”, approved in the 4th plenary session of the 18th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee,  specifies that it is necessary to strengthen the lawmaking of internet field and perfect the service of network information, the safeguard of network safety & the management of network society as well as other laws & regulations. Besides, network activities shall be regularized in accordance with laws.
