Customs Clearance Difficulties ——

Members of HWLTM enjoy preferential terms of “shipping wine & spirits products out of free trade zone in batches and having customs declaration all together”. Their goods will be delivered to Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone directly as soon as arriving at Tianjin pier. Timely shipment and delivery will be guaranteed. Customs declaration and tax payment will be accomplished at one go later.

Slow Commodity Inspection ——

Commodity Inspection Department will conduct inspection for the total quantity as soon as members’ wine & spirits products are delivered to the free trade zone from the pier. The certificate of commodity inspection can be obtained within the day when wine & spirits products are shipped out of free trade zone in batches. Hence, customs clearance can be guaranteed.

Tight Capital ——

Members’ wine & spirits products are warehoused in the free trade zone and will be delivered in accordance with clients’ demands. Customs declaration and tax payment for the products which are stored in the free trade zone are not required. Tax payment is not required, neither, when products are delivered out of free trade zone in batches. The customs declaration and tax payment will be accomplished at one go as soon as getting all the payments from domestic buyers (e.g. agents and distributors.), from which the capital backlog of nearly 50% of the goods value will be eliminated.              

High Cost ——

Members enjoy preferential land-value and warehousing which are offered by the government. They also have free access to the exhibition hall and workplace. The tax for members’ products which are produced, processed, packaged, and the like, in the free trade zone, is the same with that for raw materials or semi-finished products. Timely customs clearance is guaranteed by green channel offered by the customs. Hence, customs stranded costs will be eliminated. Besides, members also enjoy reasonable pricing. From all the above preferential terms, the cost of members’ wine & spirits imports will be greatly reduced.

Members will enjoy at least 5% increase in profit, because of the financial subsidies of 4% of the added value and 12% of the total profits.

High Risk ——

The ownership of goods which are warehoused in the free trade zone will not be

accomplishment of customs declaration and tax payment.
